Climbing
Dynamic Rock is an old Public Hall, and before Dynamic Rock took over the building 14+ years ago it was a three-story market hall! The unique building is the perfect setting for a climbing centre for Swansea and the surrounding areas. Our centre is packed full of routes ranging from 4 - 7b. With a slabbed climbing area for those looking for something a bit easier to a double overhang for the more daring, there is something for everyone at Dynamic Rock.
We have two auto-belays funded by Sport Wales, and auto-belays have plenty of routes on, so whether you want to push your grade or develop your fitness the auto-belays are accessible to all competent climbers.
We have a small bouldering room with a training area and a training board.
General entry climbers can just turn up at Dynamic Rock to climb, there is no need to book. Please be aware that our peak times are Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Should you wish to check how busy the centre is feel free to give us a call before you pop down. The cost for general entry is £9.
It couldn't be simpler, PAY LESS CLIMB MORE. For just £24 a month you can have unlimited entry to Dynamic Rock and the perks don't stop there. You get free kit hire for yourself and any guests you bring in, you get a discount on shop items and you can save money on some of our courses.
No matter your climbing ability we have courses to help you take your climbing to the next level. From Learn to Lead Courses to Coaching programmes we have something to suit everyone.
Competent Climbers under the age of 18 are welcome to use Dynamic Rock. An initial Competency Test will need to book booked in and the individual will be assessed on their skills and ability to use the centre safely.
