About Us

Dynamic Rock - providing opportunities, experiences and access to rock climbing for the climbing and wider community.

We didn’t set out to build Europe’s, Britain’s or even Wales’s biggest indoor wall, but what we have done is provide a much needed, accessible, friendly centre for climbers from all walks of life. At Dynamic Rock we pride ourselves on having a friendly, supportive and efficient team who all have something different to offer and who create a social atmosphere where you can share experiences, chat and pass on skills and tips.

We have a roped climbing area with 23 lines with 50+ routes ranging from 3 – 7c. We also have two Auto Belays with four routes on each as well as a small bouldering room with a training area and a woody board.

Dynamic Rock is a not-for-profit organisation, ensuring that any profits are reinvested back into the climbing centre to serve the local climbing community that it represents as well as people who would usually be unable to access climbing and other related activities.

Indoor climbing is a fun activity for all and it will provide a new and exciting experience for any children, family, friendship group, group of colleagues or date!

If you are new to climbing, an experienced climber or just looking to try something new we are the place for you. We have numerous different courses available for all ages and abilities:

Situated in Clydach, the centre is easily accessible to the whole of South Wales and is only a four-minute drive from junction 45 of the M4. The centre has parking and a bus stop on its doorstep. For the more energetic of us, cycle route 43 goes directly past the centre and can be picked up at Swansea bay and on a summer’s day makes a pleasant walk or run along the river Tawe.

Dynamic Rock Adventures Ltd fully supports the British Mountaineering Council and the Association of British Climbing Walls policies and views on indoor climbing facilities.

“The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own involvement.”

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our climbing centre. If you have any questions or comments in the meantime please feel free to get in touch by email or phone.
